Teacher Appreciation Week is quickly approaching. For instance, one day, the theme is flowers; one day, the theme is a pampering item; one day, the theme is school supplies, and so on. Teachers often spend money out of their own pocket for school and classroom supplies and are not always appreciated for how much they do for our children. We’ve had some amazing teachers through the years who went above and beyond to help my children, especially when they were struggling with an assignment. Each year I try to send in a small gift for each of the teachers to help with the classroom, it could be a small basket of supplies, wipes, or an extra box of tissues.
I also allow all designs to be made and sold at fundraisers, craft fairs, etc. I’m Melissa - a Graphic Designer & Paper Crafter creating easy-to-assemble printables, party DIY's, and food crafts for family fun. So I may be out of school, but that doesn’t prevent me from hitting up all these back to school sales.

Not fancy markers that cost $8/each, but simple black markers you probably already have hiding around the house. I don’t know any teacher who isn’t kookoo for Sharpies and new school supplies. After printing on card stock, you’ll want to cut the printable using a paper cutter. Most design software allows you the ability to crop with marks and bleeds. This will allow you to have defined lines when you proceed to cut the paper.

Line up your paper on the edge of your cutter but I always like to leave a little of paper on the edge before I completely chop it off.
